Calgary Trail Family Clinic is delighted to welcome Dr. Faisal Ayembillah, a compassionate, affable, and result-oriented family physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality care to individuals and families.

With over 13 years of experience as a physician, Dr. Ayembillah brings a wealth of medical knowledge and a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes. He completed his medical education in Ghana, where he also worked in Emergency Medicine, gaining valuable experience in acute and frontline care. He later completed his Family Medicine residence in Peterborough, United Kingdom, further enhancing his expertise in primary care and holistic patient management.
In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Ayembillah holds a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University and a Master’s in Public Health for Development from the world-renowned London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is also a proud member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK).
Dr. Ayembillah’s diverse background—spanning emergency medicine, dermatology, paediatrics, adult medicine, mental health, and care of the elderly—enables him to deliver well-rounded, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Now practicing in Edmonton, Dr. Ayembillah is passionate about promoting health and wellness within the community. He is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with his patients and contributing meaningfully to the overall health of Albertans.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ayembillah enjoys reading, travelling, and spending quality time with his family. He believes that “Good medicine starts with genuine connection—listening, caring, and empowering patients to take charge of their health.”
